Requirement details
Passport photograph
- Format: JPG, JPEG
- File size: 10 KB to 200 KB
- Background: White background
- Colour or black & white; 80% of the image should be the candidate’s face (without mask), including ears
- Without mask; ears visible
- Recent passport size photograph taken after 01 January 2026.
Signature
- Format: JPG, JPEG
- File size: 10 KB to 100 KB
Finger and thumb impressions
- Format: JPG, JPEG
- File size: 10 KB to 200 KB
- Left and Right Hands Fingers and Thumb impressions, JPG/JPEG, 10 kb to 200 kb as per the application-procedure table.
Certificate PDF
- Format: PDF
- File size: 50 KB to 300 KB
- Category, Class X certificate/marksheet, PwD/UDID, address proof and similar certificates: PDF 50 kb to 300 kb.
Passport photograph must be taken after 01 January 2026. Live photograph is also captured on the NTA form and is matched with Aadhaar records.
