Requirement details
Live photo (official portal only)
- Format: JPG, JPEG
- Background: As instructed on the RRB application module
- Camera at eye level; full frontal view
- Do not wear a cap, mask, or glasses/spectacles while capturing the photograph.
- Do not upload a pre-existing photograph. Capture the live image on the RRB application as per Para 17.5.
- Live photo on official portal only.
Signature
- Format: JPG, JPEG
- File size: 30 KB to 49 KB
- Pixels: 140×60
- Paper: White paper
- Ink: Black ink pen
- Running handwriting, not BLOCK, CAPITAL, or disjointed letters. JPG/JPEG, 30–49 KB, minimum 140 × 60 pixels, scan at least 100 DPI. Box size 50 mm × 20 mm.
Para 17.5 says candidates are not required to upload a pre-existing photograph. The application module captures a live photograph. Do not treat ALP CEN 01/2025 photo numbers as this CEN.
