Requirement details
Photograph
- Format: JPEG, JPG
- File size: 5 KB to 600 KB
- Pixels: 200×260 (max 530×690)
- Paper size: 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm
- Background: White; no other objects or persons
- Colour passport photograph; face covering 60–70% of the image; frontal view looking directly into the camera; forehead, eyes, nose and chin visible. Official aspect ratio 0.66–0.89.
- Face must not be covered with caps, hats, sunglasses or coloured glasses. Normal spectacles for vision correction are allowed if there is no glare; otherwise remove them. Head coverings only for religious reasons, with facial features from chin to forehead and both edges of the face clearly shown.
- JPEG/JPG. Official pixel range 200×260 to 530×690. File 5–600 kB. Face must cover 60–70% after cropping.
Signature
- Format: JPEG, JPG
- File size: 3 KB to 300 KB
- Pixels: 250×80 (max 580×180)
- Ink: Black or dark blue colour ink only
- JPEG/JPG. Aspect ratio height:width 1:R with R between 2.75 and 3.75. Signature must cover 70–80% of the image. Pixel range 250×80 to 580×180. File 3–300 kB. Signed only by the applicant.
